In town for the Georgia Educational Technology Conference (GaETC), I took the opportunity to treat my favorite GA Tech sophomore (and, actually, a favorite person) to dinner at his favorite close-to-campus spot: Ray's New York Pizza/Cedars Mediterranean. He chose pizza; I chose kabobs. Saying that he had not eaten anything at all earlier in the day, he also ordered the garlic knots and shared my Lebanese rice and grilled chicken.
He was a sport - posing with me for a picture without even one eye roll or "Mom!!!" -- even taking time away from his test prep for a Computer Science Java programming test tomorrow. ICK.Good luck with that! He was a sweetheart to keep his mom company! Thanks, Will!
Funny about this picture: we did not plan the pose, but now I notice the almost identical hand placement. Also, I never realized how similar our hair and eye color are (Yes, yes - the Tahitian blonde color is subject to Wayne's whim). There's no denying our kinship!
