On my evening walks this month, I've been fascinated by the beauty of wintry trees - their essential architecture revealed by the season. My walk slowed today as I stopped every few yards to stare at just one more specimen and to take just one more photograph of a spectacular tree superimposed against a late January cornflower blue sky. Oh, and don't forget the waxing gibbous moon...
